Peace Land Khaosan is a very nice hotel a little out of the touristic centre of Bangkok which helps to make it really a peace land. The hotel has a very pleasant design, the rooms have good sound isolation, so it's always quiet in your room. Breakfast options are good and the selection of foods vary from day to day, so even spending there 7 days, I never got bored with the food. It also has a very nice little pool and gym. Your room is cleaned only when you request it which is a very reasonable and environment-friendly policy. Also, for me, a big bonus was that they actually allow you to use an iron and ironing board in your room for free whereas most hotels in SE Asia try to sell you the ironing service for extra charge. Also, the staff was very good, friendly, and with a good sense of humour.

Toomas

Clean room, friendly staff, spacious living room within the room to put the luggage because without that having only the room wouldn't have space for luggage. It had some gym equipment Pool was clean and pretty. Area was ok to walk to Khaosand and temples 10-30 minutes. Breakfast was basic, fruit, Thai food, salad, some bread and spreads, eggs. Enough to eat something to start the day. Comfy bed Area around hotel is not wow but you can see how people live and go around little streets which is OK. You can walk around the riverside, very close to hotel. Some markets for locals in the nearby area too. Not a modern area but interesting.

Paloma

The rooms are really big, the staff there are very nice and the pool is also clean and very convenient (you also can borrow for free pool towels which is nice). The location is convenient as we could walk anywhere (20 mins to The Grand Palace). On the other hand the hotel is situated in an interesting area with narrow allies. But the people who live there are very nice so it's fine :) We would book this hotel again:) The thing which we had an issue with were really just small details.

Easy reachable by bus/boat/taxi, 7/11 3 min walking distance, pretty much silent neighborhood. Staff is friendly, always smiling and willing to help. Rooms are good, with comfy beds. Bathrobes added extra comfort. Pool is nice and empty most of the time. Really great breakfast. Vegetables, sausages, ham, fried rice, noodles, eggs, omlette, some sort of meat, watermelon, tea/coffe/juice, cereal and toasts. They always change something every day, which is great.

Overall solid place. Location is pretty good, walking distance to city center. Some nice local food joints around. I was working remotely and can verify that wifi in room (most away room in the hotel) was sufficient for online meetings with camera. Even streaming (netflix) had no issues. Good breakfast with a lot of different dishes. Very pleasent to talk to staff, they were extremly helpfull. Overall pleasant experiance!
